Meat Sandwich
First let me say that I am a new member of Ice Team and I have enjoyed reading the articles and watching videos. Great job guys! That being said, do any of you ice vets know of any sleeper shack rentals on the Boundry Waters?
aaron otto
I recall an episode of MN Bound where they stayed in a snowshow, ski, or sled to only cabin. http://www.mnbound.com/ Sorry I don't remember the specific one. If you go please post I have wanted to try that out since I saw the episode.

Mike Stark
I don't think permanent shacks are allowed in the BWCA. The closest you could get would be Smitty's on Snowbank. Half of Snowbank is inside the BWCA but I don't think Smitty's has sleepers just day shacks.
Wanderer1582813680
For overnighters in the B dub, you'd be best served by booking a dog sledder who handles overnight camping/fishing trips. Sure, not as plush as staying in a hard side but giving up some amenities is well worth some experiences. A quick Google search will get you going in the right direction.
