Dark water Crappies????

Question..... I am going to try fishing a new lake this weekend that has very stained waters. I fished it in the spring for crappies but had no luck but I did see some baby crappie swimming near shore so I know there is some sort of crappie in there.

My question is... What would be a good presentation to start with fishing for/ finding these crappie in stained waters? The visibility from what I remember from spring was about 1 foot or less.

Try a small white (glow) jig. I like a small lindy fat boy #12hook with 2 or 3 wax worms on it.

Where ever I go, it seems a Pink Glow head and a White Glow plastic works time and time again. This is my go-to on any lake for crappies. Size 5 Fiska, hand painted, Pink Glow is the jig and then tip with any white glow plastic of your choice. Maki makes some good ones!

I fish a stained lake a minnow on a jig and fished with a float on a deadstick is a solid producer for me .
