Waubay area perch

We've often fished NE SD for perch in the winter but never in the summer months. When does the perch fishing get good up in that area? June, July, Aug., ? assume the later the better? Thanks for any advise.

late august till october is the best perch bite. you can catch a few during early summer.

September is ussually the best time for perch. from what I have found.
