walleye lake?

hey guys im new to the site im 15 from shakopee MN this will be my third year on the ice. i was wondering if you guys knew a good walleye lake near shakopee? i got one "eye" on o'dowd was it a fluke or is it a good walleye lake?

Walleyes can be caught on Prior Lake. Use whatever with a minnow head, or live minnow. Welcome to the team!

Where is the walleye in Prior Lake?

i fish prior alot caught perch panfish and pike nice to know that thier is walleye in prior lake i usually go by sand point beach. where do you guys go?

the walleyes are few and far between. i've never fished for them, but came across some fishing for crappies.

The MN dnr lake finder should help you find out more about these lakes. It appears there are walleye in prior,just haven't found any myself! Good luck!

I am from shakopee i fish for walleyes just about every night after school. i normally fish prior lake with great success we usually get 2 to 3 walleys in the 15 to 20 inch range. i fish on the upper side of prior lake. try to find steep drop offs. o'dowds is a terrible walleye lake. i will sometimes fish minnetonka but have yet to catch an eye out of there.
