Waubay 6,7,8

We are going to be fishing Waubay and area starting the 6th and was wondering about ice conditions and a fishing report? Some of us have never been there before and don't know where to start. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance Slimo

Alot of pickups on the ice this past week. Ice is sixteen inches thick. With the lows below zero this next week ice will grow fast.

I drove out on the Northeast side of the lake. Took the gravel road that goes to Buckshots resort and just went till the road ended. We paid $2 to drive out.

People are fishing all over. You have to keep moving to find the perch and walleyes. We were about 1 mile out from Buckshots resort in 25 feet of water.
