Bad Ice????

Just came off Lake Albert and man the ice has gotten thinner, Where I was ( on the north side) 7 inches or so, compared to 12 inches days ago. So heads up and be careful, no fish is worth it. I heard a guy went through on Thompson with his 4 wheeler yesterday.

Iceman, Have you heard anything about ice conditions on Waubay Lake? I have spent about half of my two week vacation fighting the flu and I am getting anxious to hit the ice. Is anyone driving vehicles on the ice?

5 northerns in about 4 hours, size was from about a hammer handle to 4 pounds or so.

going to try Waubay first today, let ya know how I did. and how ice is.

Mostly bare ice, a little snow, but not much, cold this morning 4-degrees , making ice, everyone will be driving now.
