jr712
Muskezz - We had one boat fish Wauaby a week ago monday for half a day. They got lots of under length fish. something like 50-60. using bare jig and minnow, leech and half crawler. They ran out of minnows and low on the other baits. We had two boats try Lynn and Pickeral for crappies but only got a couple at each place. They have been done spawning for around 2 weeks now and not as good as the web site reports indicate. On Pickeral we have done pretty good in past post-spawn trolling the big flat on east side of lake towards the north end. The drop off along this flat, about a 1/4 mile off shore is good for walleye also.We had our best luck on cattail last week for pike. And you should really try to get your kids up to Roy and fish the big bar in the center of the lake for smallmouth. 8' or shallower. Cast a jig with anything plastic that looks like a crawdad or if your kids are young, just use a jig and leech below a float. a big chunk of the bar is 3-5' deep and a good place to just drift over with the floats and fan casting.
