Bitter Lake

Guest

Recommended Posts

(Courtesy of Fisherman's Village ) 3 to 6 inches of ice. Walking out only, be careful. Just a few fishermen out catching a few walleyes and perch.

This is all I could find right now on Bitter lake. Will be more reports after this weekend.

He are the reports for Bitter lake

Dakota Angler-Good for walleyes, as well as a few northern and perch.

Courtesy of Fisherman's Village - Ice is good. Fishermen success has slowed a little, but still catching some nice walleyes, and a few perch.

ifishsd,

Thanks for the info. How are the size of the perch? I'm looking to tag some jumbos. What about the surrounding lakes?

Thanks again.

Good Fishin, Matt.

I heard you won't catch many perch on Bitter the the ones you do get will be jumbos.

Blue Bog is good for northerns. Waubay good for walleyes and perch some days. Walleyes are short of the 16 inch size limit.

I fished on Reetz yesterday morning, moved twice no fish, went to waubay later, small 12-15' walleye from 5:30-7:00, no perch, was fishing about 2 miles east of Busters resort, 100's of shacks on the lake, ice is 17-20" thick, pickups are driving everywhere, still some snow on the lake, but most of it melted last week...
