Navionics App

If  I am at a lake, and I mark a waypoint, how do I have the app navigate me to my waypoint?   I've clicked on Boat TO but it won't take me to my waypoint.

The easiest way would be tap on route then tap on the screen where you want to go to, such as where your waypoint is at. 

 

Or do as you say and tap on "GO" at the bottom after it creates the routes
