We are planning to head up the Gunflint trail next week and try for some lakers on Saganaga or other nearby lakes. Does anyone have any recent knowledge of ice conditions up that way?  I see snow could come in this week as well which might not be a great thing depending on how well the lakes are holding up presently. 

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
