Mistermojo
Now that I have a Clam hub light, I need something to power it. I was hoping Marcum had an auxiliary connection on my LX-6 but they do not. So I think I need a second battery and a way to charge it. I am thinking of getting a Battery Tender JR (BTJ) since it has alligator connectors (which the Marcum charger doesn't) and I could rewire the Marcum with the plug off the second pigtail for the BTJ, bypassing the Marcum charger altogether. Plus I can use the BTJ for other batteries around the garage. So a few questions:Is there any reason I can't use a BTJ for these type of batteries? If I get really creative with my wiring, can I charge both batteries at the same time?Is there another product out there which can replace my current wiring setup on the Marcum and add the capability to tap into the main battery? Thanks,Mojo
