Clear Lake in Forest Lake

Looking at fishing here some this Winter.  I have heard the ice can be sketchy due to springs.  Can anyone keep me clear of finding some of these when I'm out there?

Inlet and outlet areas, flowing water...early/late ice.

The outlet is obviously seen from the highway.

The inlet, I've never personally been to.
