Trout26
So I bought a new IC rv edition fish house yesterday. And I have been trying to figure out whats the best way to go about being able to use the toilet in the winter. Wondering if anyone out there uses theres. Im thinking if you put half water and half rv antifreeze in the fresh water tank and use that or put some antifreeze in the toilet before you use it evertime a guy should be good and not worry about it freezing. Or am I wrong I don't want to wreck anything. Need some advice thanks

Or am I wrong I don't want to wreck anything. Need some advice thanksI have one and use it every winter. Basically for every trip i just fill the fresh water tank with either the pink or blue RV anti-freeze stuff and use the toilet normally. In the spring i do a complete rinse with a holding tank fresh wash stuff i get online from an RV store and never smell or taste the RV anti-freeze. The anti-freeze stuff will never freeze solid but will start to have some freeze to it. Once you get the furnace going it will liquefy just fine, just make sure that when you go to dump in the winter that you have had the inside warmed up so it is liquefied. Hope you can find a dump in the winter to use too. that seems to be the hardest thing to find. I actually just had one added to the house that i built this summer so that i dont have to go looking for one.
