bASS_BLASTER
I just bought a minn kota 2 bank onboard charger to keep my batteries charged. I plan to hook one bank to hydraulic's battery and one for the main battery. Question? If I just plug the charger into the wall outlet, wouldn't the battery just try to charge itself? How to bypass this?
jsr426hemi
Are u running a generator to power your outlets or an inverter off the batteries. If u are using an inverter then u are taking battery power to make power, that's a lose lose situation. If using a genie then u should have no problem. All depends on how u have your house wired. My outlets are wired to be powered by either or. I just flip a switch depending on what I am using to power up the outlets. I have a camper converter box on board so when I use the genie the batteries get charged if they need charging.
