The wife got me a good chef knife for Xmas this year. And I used an Amazon gift certificate the inlaws got me to help buy a chopping block to suit it. Used tonight to cut up veggies for shepherd's pie (made with chopped leftover roast beef from Xmas). Good stuff and just the stuff for a low key New Year's while the wife is getting over the flu. Happy New Year everyone!
