My Cargo Trailer Conversion

I've been on the market for a smaller house, yet it needed to be a "toy hauler" as I want to be able to use this trailer year round. I have looked on hsolist every day for months and have contacted every cargo trailer manufacturer possible to build a "custom" trailer. I am a fabricator by trade and have built a few frames, but after quoting everything to build such a trailer, I couldn't justify the extra costs, especially now that its almost time for permies to hit the ice around here.

I ended up purchasing an H&H 6x12 + a 30" V. 6'6" interior height with a camper/rv man door and a ramp. Seamless aluminum siding.rhinolined any exposed metal. people say cargo trailers are cheaply built, and yes, I agree, some are. But they are designed to go down the road. I will be spray foaming everything to tie everything together making any "strength" issues disappear.

My plan is to take the exisiting axle out and use my crank wheel system. I plan on putting an additional 2x3 tube across where the pivot is.

I have a few questions though

I need to do the wiring first before I get this spray foamed. I want to run everything 12V and just run a power converter when I run my generator. I am thinking two deep cycle batteries should be sufficient for a weeks worth of a few hours of fishing, and the weekends I can recharge them via the generator/converter. My question is, how does everyone wire their batteries? In the past, I have wired everything into a distribution block, both positive and negative. Then have 0 ga(what I had laying around) go from the battery to dist. blocks. But with multiple batteries do you run them parallel. + to + and - to -? and run the charger to the battery opposite of what the dist. blocks are hooked to?

I like the Glacier houses and their modern looks. Like I said I a metal fabricator making clear powdercoated metal shelves and brackets, and not so much wood. I want to put rustic hardwood floors, just like the Glaciers. But I cant find any "rubber" flooring like they advertise. All I can find are vinyl.. has anyone had much luck with this vinyl? if so, what glue did you use? The glue I have found in the local stores aren't recommended below 10 degreees. I am also kicking around the idea of putting this vinyl on the walls also, but I would have to find a very good glue before I think about doing that. 3M VHB tape would work, but I think I would need a full coverage type glue, otherwise ill get bubbles.

thanks,

Josh
