Vucube Dish Mounting

So I finally got tired of messing with satellite of roof of ice castle and bought a vucube dish (same as tailgater) for direct tv. Couple questions for you that have one. Do you mount them on house some how or just set it on the ice? If on the ice does the wind mess with them it is pretty light. I have a couple different receivers a D12-700 and H25-100. I'm assuming the H25 wont work cause it is HD. Will the D12 work? Looking forward to watching some hockey and football finally. Thanks

To attach my Vucube to the house, I mounted a plastic plate to the bottom then used a ram mount to quickly take it on and off.

So I bought the carryout g2 and borrowed someone's dish box for the weekend. They have the tailgater. Will I have to mess with the settings or can I just plug it in and follow on screen commands. I don't want to mess up the receiver for the guy I'm borrowing it from where it won't work for him either...
