Fishinguy40
So the power windows are getting slooooooooow. Especially when going up to close them. Any maintenance that I should do that would help correct this other than replacing the regulators?
Jeremy airjer W
Get a can of silicone spray. Roll down the windows. Liberally spray the channels that windows travel in. If it's dripping out the bottom of the door you have enough. Roll the windows up and down, repeat. Spray some silicone spray on a rag. Wipe down all the door moldings so they are shiny. No more frozen doors after running through the car wash.
acroman
I have replaced the motors on both my front windows of my 2003 yukon XL. They pretty much go straight up and down so there is a lot of stress on the motor. I agree maybe lubeing up will help but never tried it. I just consider it something that wears out and needs replacing like everything else.
