My favorite tactic for kayak fishing is trolling Raps. Next would be topwater baits for bass. It all depends what time of year it is and what I am fishing for. Right now the smallie bite is hot on the Mississippi River trolling raps.

Depends on the species, but generally speaking I like most of the stuff that I love in boat fishing. Generally speaking, big swimbaits/plastics for large northerns and mega bass. Mainly use the yaks now for those BWCA trips
