The other day while launching my boat at a small lake there was another guy getting ready to launch his. He had an elderly gentlemen with him who could have been between 80-90 years, this elderly guy came over and struck up a conversation with me and said "Gee you don't see too many women fishing alone". I kinda chuckled and told him he would be surprised how many women there are out there fishing alone or with a female pal. I told him I belong to a womens fishing club in Wisconsin who has over 130 members and they fish a lot! It did make me wonder just how many gals do fish by themselves. They went home after a couple of hours fishless, I went home with two nice northerns. Pickled fish coming up.
