And here are the FishingMinnesota.com League Top 10 after day 1.

1. Rip-N-Lips 394
2. Big John Corno 309
3. Cyberfish 257
4. Riptide 256
5. Rennberg 244
6. Flippen 11 238
7. Venkman Guido 236
8. MN Birddog 235
9. Duffman Shanty Boy 233
10. NWO BASS 231

We had another 6 over 200 which isn't half bad. I suspect there will be a lot of minor movement in the rankings tommorrow, but I don't expect people to make huge jumps because so many anglers are on fish. Most of the movement will probably be due to people who stumble. The Cut weight will probably be around 35lbs. I don't forsee anyone with less than a 16lb bag today making the the Cut. 29 anglers had 16lb bags or better.

Come ON BP boys, I need another big day 2.

Great Line Up MNBass
You have a legit shot at 4 guys in the cut and I would say 3 is almost guarenteed because I doubt Brauer, Hackney, or Klien will stumble. To bad Ike fell off, maybe he will move up today but I think he will need a pretty good bag to even crack the Top 75 to get any points.

Keep in mind the next tournament is next week at Santee Cooper.

Who hangs on?? This is the question for day 4 at Eufaula. We have quite a few who have a shot at some really good scores proveded Denny can keep his 2 ounce lead. However to drop the top spot is an instant serious score deflater and Denny could fall more than one position with his mediocre day 3.

Here's where the angling leaders stand going into the last

1. Denny Brauer 15, 57-12
Day 1: 5, 22-14 – Day 2: 5, 23-12 – Day 3: 5, 11-02

2. Ben Matsubu 15, 57-10
Day 1: 5, 20-06 – Day 2: 5, 13-10 – Day 3: 5, 23-10

3. Bink Desaro 15, 52-06
Day 1: 5, 17-14 – Day 2: 5, 17-15 – Day 3: 5, 16-09

4. Ron Shuffield 15, 52-01
Day 1: 5, 23-08 – Day 2: 5, 17-11 – Day 3: 5, 10-14

5. Skeet Reese 15, 51-11
Day 1: 5, 19-01 – Day 2: 5, 17-13 – Day 3: 5, 14-13

6. Greg Hackney 15, 49-14
Day 1: 5, 19-13 – Day 2: 5, 16-13 – Day 3: 5, 13-04

Congrats to our Top Gun Rip-n-lips who was tied for the 39th best fantasy player in the whole of ESPN Fantasy Bass fishing. Had Greg Hackney or Gary Klein performed better he would have been in the prizes. This tournment also moves our league leader Cyberfish into the Top 50 in ESPN the season standings. Good Job guys

As for our league, our Top 14 players have all breached 1000 pts for the year and our Top 15 are all in the Top 10% of all players for the season. If you have above 900pts you are positioned well, top 20% of all players, for making a run at the year end prizes. Our Top 40 are all in the upper 50% of all players.

Keep in mind the next tournament is next weekend at Santee Cooper and it will be the last tournament with a 200 boat field.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
