Vine ID

I have this vine growing over most of one of my dogwoods. From what I have found on-line it looks like Silver Lace vine but not totally sure. Is it harmful to the dogwood? ]Unident vine

What you have there is wild cucumber, an annual that loves to climb on evergreens, shrubs and fence lines. Not necessarily harmful to the plant although it can compete for light so if it happens to be under stress, it doesn't help either. Plus, if you let it go it tends to get worse because of the seed production. I enjoy discovering where the plant is growing out of the ground and unplugging them.
