I've been fishing the river for a while now, but I've never really tried going after catfish. What would be the best way to find, and more importantly, catch, some cats? I am limited to the shore, unfortunately.

Im new too but from what i notice the only 2 big suggestions for bait is chicken liver and cutbait. Cutbait normaly being the biggest success. As of were to find I just toss out and guess but Ill look for eddies and were water slows in rivers. Best of luck and keep us posted
