I say lately because they showed up for a while, then I didn't hear about them for a while, and now they seem to be back. I have been resisting because I already have 4 drawers double stacked of cranks in my tacklebox. I suppose one day I'll have to give in. Some of my searches claim more action at slower speeds, but everyone has a theory. I'd try and test them side by side but I don't often have extra people with for the additional lines.

Salmo has been around for a while. I like then for their erratic action and vibration. They have their time and place.

Hornets can be trolled effectively down to about .8. YOu can also pull them up to 4mph with some fine tuning.

Not many cranks can do that.
