Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe. I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho. Figured I was there, I'm getting in it. -
The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there. About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water. -

It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway. Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work. You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water. When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt. -

We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there,but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity. -

I'm requesting you regarding electronics on a new boat. I am in the process of buying a 19' Lowe Tahiti Deck Boat with a 150 Ficht for a family/fishing boat and I want to get the right electronics for fishing. I really like sonar and mapping with GPS and I'm looking at the: Lowrance 2001 Model LCX-15CT with TFT (Is this too much?)
with the mapping package. I like computers and would enjoy the interface. Having it set to be moveably mounted at the bow or console.
I like to walleye/northern/bass fish on Mille Lacs, Lake of the Woods, and Vermillion etc, and I really need mapping. I get lost easier as I get older, and of course, forget stuff like good spots.
Do you think I'm making a good choice?
Also, do you like the Minn Kota Minn Kota 2001 Genisis 74/AP with Auto Pilot for a bow mounted electric motor?
And one more thing, do you like the :

with Crabclaw CC-18 Anchor & 60 ft of 800# Nylon Rope
I have a bad back? I would get one on the front and one on the back.
