Just sharing -not a pro by any means,or a sponsored fisherman- I've been very pleased with a new panfish set-up I bought this year.

St. croix premier 6'6"light with Pflueger Arbor 6230 -salesman spooled me with 10/2 powerpro.

Been able to cast great,balance of rod/reel is perfect,zero line problems and fun bringing in the fish.

Happy to really have a setup that works so well.

Mostly been casting jig spinner with 1/16th head and small plastic.

Have a great,fun 4th to all.
