Majors & Minors

So as far as major and minor moon periods are concerned what is the typical time frame that saposedly the best fishing is? Is it a half hour on each side of the lunar event? Hour on each side? 2 hours? One site i use shows it being a hour or two after the said period. For example if the minor is a 4:30am the best fishing is 4:30-5:30am and if a major is at 1:00pm the best fishing is 1:00pm-3:00pm. While other sources talk about a certain time on each side of the event. Just curious as to what others think and or have experienced.

I posted this question a couple months ago and I got as many different answers as people answering so I just decided to go with the chart pete maina post daily on his Facebook page. and I believe on his chart it goes 1 hour before and after the minors and one hour and a half before and after the majors

a buddy and i have been out a few times this season.

so far combined had 5 follows, 2 bites and 500 cast to date. one was half way to the boat when if shook off.

i think if the weather stabilizes for a bit we should have sum decent fishing but as of now cant seem to dial in on them
