hitch drop question

Recommended Posts

I am picking up a new hitch for our new (to us) pop up.

I will be towing with a 2003 Lincoln Navigator with air suspension.

I am wondering, is a 2 inch drop enough, or do I need to go to a 4 inch drop to keep it more level towing?

Thanks

Nathan

Grab a tap measure measure the distance to tongue on truck. Crank the wheel on the pop up to a level position and measure. You'll should be able to find "drop" with these measurements. Good luck.

I ended up having to by a 2 and 4 inch drop. The camper wasn't by us to measure. Looks like the 4 inch drop will be what we use unless we want to go to an adjustable one.

Thanks for the help!
