Bear bait alert!

I have not hunted Bear's for about 8 years now because we all have one on the wall, but it's funny how the Bear bait alert stays with you. I was in a SA gas station last night right at 10:00pm standing in line when I looked over and saw one of the gal's dumping all the days old rolls and donuts into a big bag. You would have thought my first thought was what a waste of a lot of food they could give to the homeless.

But, my first thought was look at all that good "BEAR BAIT" just getting thrown out!

I did ask the girl if they just throw it or give it to someone, and she said they just throw it. So, if your Bear hunting this year you may want to get in "good" with someone at an SA station and have them put it a side for you. You can always start freezing it now if you have room?

I have done this for years. SA has the best bear bait for sure. I have used Cubs and Holiday as well. SA doughnuts never seem to mold and did not need to be frozen.

It is now hard to keep the excitement going when you can only draw every few years. Luckily our group is on different rotations for drawing.
