Does the new night fishing ban also apply to bow"fishing" carp? I didn't even consider this implication when I read the released DNR regs, but read this article recently and now I'm wondering. http://www.startribune.com/sports/outdoors/255729061.html

Here I thought I could go kill some time out there doing that after dark since I wouldn't need any "fishing" equipment in the boat with me.

nope, a nighttime fishing ban to help protect walleye means NO NIGHTIME FISHING FOR ANYONE!!!

"The lake closes at 10:00pm. Everyone needs to go home and find someplace else to fish. Good Day Sir!!!"

just another example of how this has been mismanaged to the nth degree.
