Legendary Ice Team member Bernie Keefe and local Clam Pro David Harrison Teamed up to take a corporate group fishing for Lake Trout at Williams Fork Reservoir, Colorado.

On this trip the new guys outfished the experienced anglers. Sometimes learning something new can catalyze your focus. The highest total came from a guy who knew he had limited time away from work and was using this trip as a real "escape". Focus can be a fickle creature.

When the guide yells "set the hook" don't just stand there. When he yells it for the fourth time with a progressively louder voice don't respond "I thought you were kidding". When you drop the bait right after this scene and get another hit try to set the hook before the guide notices the bend in your rod tip.

Colorado in March is a fantastic time for t-shirt ice fishing. The day started with -5F temps but by 9 AM it was 28 and by 1 PM it was 45. Multiple l ayers of sunscreen were needed. Bernie was smart enough to bring an extra sled just to pull jackets, hats, gloves, and everything else back to the trucks.
