I had to replace the plastic handles on my Tecumseh 2hp lazer mag. The problem is that the new handles have a little more flex to them so that when I set the auger down the handles flex out and pull on the throttle cable just enough to keep the blades spinning. When I pick up the auger by the handles they flex in so the throttle stops. Question is how to I loosen the throttle cable? Plus I did mess with the screw that is sticking out by the throttle cable thinking that would adjust throttle but come to find out it is the governor adjuster. How do I make sure I have reset the governor where it should be?

Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!

I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it.
Good luck.
