This is Clam Pro David Harrison reporting on ice fishing at Chatfield Reservoir in Denver, CO.

This week my large group fished the east-west roadbed west of the bridge. Minnows caught the first fish, a nice 10" perch. A silver blade bait, a dalmation #5 Chubby Darter, and Minnows brought in three walleyes. A few trout were caught on minnows as well.

On my own, I fished a small hump south of the roadbed and landed a small trout and a 18.5-inch keeper walleye on a silver blade bait. I returned to the spot later that day for the evening bite and although my friend and I saw 20+ fish we didn't have many strikes.
