Has anyone else had issues with the drag on these reels?

I have had three different ones in my hand and on all of them the drag will not adjust enough to even stop the line from spooling off. I screw the drag star handle all the way in and I can still stop the spool with a light tough of my pinky.

I have one also and mine did something similar plus you could crank the handle all day and the spool would not turn. After taking it apart there is a star washer that fits over the shaft under the silver cap that holds the spool on that keeps coming off.
