Summer vacation

My wife and I are looking at 2 lakes for our summer vacation, mid July looks like the time frame we have. One is the women chain of lakes and the other is Sand lake by Deer creek, We really like bass fishing but pan fish,pike, and eyes are good too. Just looking to see what others think of these lakes or other ideas. Thanks for any input!

I've only been on woman once. It was october and pouring rain but we still caught fish and had fun. Good small mouths in that lake.

Thanks smallie that's what would like to fish for. We have been to Vermillion a few times but want something new.

Do you plan to just fish the 1 lake the entire vacation? I would go with woman lake as well. I've fished nearby ten mile lake, and it's great! Even with bigger bass/pike lures you'll still have to sort through a lot of rock bass, but at least they're big ones.

Thanks JB, wouldn't be afraid of pulling to other lakes in the area for a day trip or two that's for sure! We haven't made the final on just where to go yet but would like to pick a lake that has good SMB, LMB. Thanks
