Up North2
I'm thinking of getting the 8 rod bag but I wish there was a picture of the inside. I have two of their combo's. One a straight line and one spin combo. Very good stuff so I'm thinking the bags are going to be good. Description says there are velcro fasteners inside to hold rods in place which is what I'm looking for. Don't want all the rods just rolling around loose. uptracker
I fought a rod bag for a couple years. Bought a hard case last year and now I'm fishing while my buddy is getting his rods untangled and throwing a hissy fit. He even broke one rod a couple weeks back trying to get stuff figured out. Buy an HT bag for $10 first. When you get sick of it, burn it and buy a hard case. The HT case has Velcro too. Good Luck!
uptracker
P.S. An 8 rod case is more like a 4 rod case...
Up North2
I talked to the folks at Beam yesterday. Seems they are coming out with a new case for next year. He wouldn't tell me much other than it was going to be a new design and probably be $100 plus. So I may get through this year and see what they come out with and reevaluate my needs for next year. 8ucksho7
I thought it was Crown that came in a bag?
Jdjulik
I use the otter case along with Clam rod sleeves. This is great combo for no tangles or broken poles. I can just throw the case in my sled and leave it in there until the next time I need a rod with no worries about [PoorWordUsage] bouncing around and breaking them.
