hunterdave29
I just got a suburban sf25q. The intake/exhaust vent looks like it will sit approximately 7" above the ice. Is this acceptable or do I need to find a way to vent it higher? Vents just come straight out of the heater back. Thanks
Chad Holst
Is it a single rigged pipe? I have not recieved our furnace yet, and this would concern me, as the houses floor is only 3 3/4" off the ice and then the heater will be sitting on that floor. A bit of drifted snow and you could end up with a blocked exaust...I would think you could put a flex pipe on the exaust and run it up to whatever height you wanted, but im curious to see the replies here. randerson
As long as the heater is running I don't see drifting being a problem because it will melt the snow around that area pretty good I think that you are suppose to keep that pipe as level as possible from the heater If you wanted to get more height I would suggest raising the heater up maybe building a 2x4 platform to sit it on
