Man it felt great today to finally hit the hard water. I fished some small pothole ponds that are off the grid. A mile long walk in carrying gear and with my clothes on proved that I need to work out a bit more.

We only had a few hours to fish and iced several bass that were in the 12" range and then I got into a load of crappie, but none of them were keepers.

No photos from today, but I will be out all day tomorrow on the Chain and will also be hitting some other lakes in Northern illinois

Anyone else get out?
