Vitreus
Well I replaced the air vent, grommet, the air vent line and the primer bulb fuel line. Drilled through about… 20" of ice maybe today before it bogged down similar to what I was experiencing before. Before I was certain that the issue was the air vent problem starving the engine of gas. It still sounds as though it is being starved of gas, however, it is no longer a gas tank-vacuum issue. I'm starting to get fed up with this thing. Any clue what is up? snapjigger
Mine Is Doing The Same Thing. Did A Carb Rebuild,All New Fuel Lines, New Vent, Plug, Gas. Will Start Ok, Seems To Take Forever To Warm Up. Bogs Out Constantly While Drilling A Hole. Just About Ready To Go To A Jiffy.
Vitreus
Guess I'll tear the carb apart. Cheers.
rmrakt
There are 2 "tamperproof" adjuster "D" screws on the Walbro carburetor. Either purchase a "D" carb tool from the online bay store or fab up something that will slide in and grab the "D" screw. The screw closest to the engine is for the low end, the outside screw is the high end mixer. Turn the outside screw 1/8 to 1/4 counterclockwise and you should get your high end back (I did).Good luck!
