The Touch 7 is very user friendly. I don't have much experience with the standard Gen2 units but from what I have heard the new Touches are a lot more user friendly then the standard Gen2. One of the coolest features is being able to scroll back on the sonar screen. If you see a pile of fish on the sonar you can scroll back and tap the pile of fish and set a way point. It is also nice if your cruising down the lake and go over a rock pile you can scroll back and tap the screen and set a way point. It is a slick feature. The Touch 7 also has the built in Structure Scan. No extra boxes to install. I highly recommend the new Lowrance Touch units.
