Flip up top bunk

Recommended Posts

I saw a post the other day with a picture of a top bunk that was basically hinged in half and flipped up. It said it was great storage for bedding. I was going to do that and a friend told me he knew a person that did it and it trapped humidity and the bedding was damp all the time. Sorry but I can't find the post now. Anybody try it and did it trap moisture? I think it might have been LRG on the 6ft wide house.

That would probably work too but It would block my back window. I'm trying to figure out where the moisture would come from with foam insulation and a direct vent heater. I suppose just the cooling when you leave would cause some.

I just came in from the shop to take a look at it myself. Its in the "Take a kid fishing" build.
