Open seat 11/15

Any body got an open seat in the boat or field for Friday? Ive hunted three days this week solo and let me tell you it is nice once in a while but over and over again gets old. I have what ever gear may be needed from boat to decoys (mallards, divers, geese, fullbodies and floaters) and am willing to travel a reasonable distance. Thanks

Well,What happened guys ? What is the report ?

I took one shot, 0 birds. There were birds on the lake, a couple smaller groups landed 100 yards to the side of our decoys (where there were no birds). Even a dam single landed 100 yards over, alone where there were no birds and quacked at us. Never came over though.

Oh well got to check out a new spot, meet another hunter. Better than going to work

Too bad about birds landing short. I can probably count on one hand how many birds have truly decoyed right where I want them to. Weird year. Don't have a clue why this is happening. Can not remember birds acting as shy and skittish as this year. Tried not calling,no mojo,... Does not seem to make a difference. Glad you had fun anyway and you are correct about "better than work "!
