almosthaddabite
I have a 1996 Polaris 425 6by with an auto. transmission. Lately it has popped out of reverse on occasion. Is this just a linkage problem? Is it easily adjusted?[This message has been edited by almosthaddabite (edited 12-07-2003).]
hunt4food
I had a 93 Polaris that did that when I put it under stress such as plowing. I had the dealer adjust it and it worked fine. I guess there is a linkage adjustment somewhere in there that they were able to do.
Dave
Yes, sounds like an adjustment. Follow the shifter lever and linkage to the transmission. You should be able to finds the adjustment.
