This started out as a thread about the higher prices for portables, so I'll respond on that. If you look in their ice fishing catalog it says "prices include extra shipping charges" or something to that effect. If you take out the shipping charges you are at the MSRP listed on Otter's HSOforum. I've been looking at upgrading my house and I think Reed's shipping in MN is $50 and TB wanted $150 to ship an Otter to me. I think if you realize that, the prices at the "World's Formost Outfitter" aren't out of line, for the portables at least.

Good eye! I just got my ice fishing catalog today and looked after reading your post. I went back to the web site and it doesn't mention this. So I'm guessing if I go to the store and if they stock it I should have no problem getting it for msrp.
