I have a power inverter in my ice house to to take 120 to 12v, i've used it for ten years , Id hook it up to a 12 volt battery an the plug in 110 fans an works like a charm. today as I was getting ready fro ice season, I had it running for a while an all of a sudden POP gose the fuse. hmmmmmm went an got several more 40 amp fuse as it take such an could even insert them before going pop, yes I would disconnect the unitt insert fuse , hook up to batt. an pop.whent thru 5 fuses, an cant figure out whats going wrong. ive usedthis for years without incident an now it pops every fuse i put in. is the unit fried?
