looking for a choice...red,vermillion,or leach

If you know vermillion and are willing to get out of the way it can be awesome but Red has better rental house options to sit and catch fish, Leech can be good but Red would be my choice. I know Vermillion well and have fished back bays and other areas and done awesome but you have to mobile and get away form the crowd. If you want to sit in a rental house drink, eat and catch fish Red is tough to beat.

Fished UR for the first time last year early and really enjoyed it. We're toying with hitting Leech this year (I've never fished it) for a couple days on the front side of our annual Northern MN trip in mid-Jan. This Leech article is what got my mind thinking about trying Leech for the first time ever this year. Truth be told though, fishing/figuring out a new body of water is my favorite thing about ice fishing.

If less crowds is your main goal, I would guess Vermillion or Leech would be better bets than URL. Either way, it'll be an adventure!
