unclewhoo
Has anyone used a K-drill Ice Auger made by Vexilar?http://vexilar.com/info/k-drill-electric-ice-auger-system/ The auger comes with life time blades....this is the part that interests me the most. ncesi
We bought one last year close to the end of the season. It works awesome and cuts like butter. We already had the Fuel drill to go along with it. In two plus feet of soft ice we only got 4-5 holes out of it per battery which was disappointing, but it will work well in the house and on thinner ice. I do not feel that it is a replacement for the gas auger but it is an awesome first ice drill, or just get a few more batteries. It is light and easy to use but possibly a bit expensive for a plastic drill. Take care of it and do not let it bounce around in the sled when pulling long distances with the ATV or snowmobile and it should last a long time and work very well. sunniewally
That sure looks like a good deal for early ice and wheel house. how long you think it takes to recharge a battery using an inverter? the ability to drill holes so close would be the real deal sometimes. PurpleFloyd
Seems a bit steep. I am going to buy the clam unit that lets you use a cordless drill. It's cheaper and the handle looks better.
Lawrence Luoma
Love it. It's the cleanest hole there is in all of ice fishing. No ice scoop required.
