insulating floor of wheel house

I have a 6.5'X10' wheelhouse, and the floor is pretty chilly. I'm thinking about putting some sort of insulation on the underside. Anyone have luck with this? I'm thinking foam board is the most accessible product. Is it easy to get underneath and install? will it hold up? Any info would be much appreciated.

It holds up fine but be sure to do pink or blue and glue and secure it well, the white is poor. If you watch the side of the roads in the winter you can probably pick up enough blown out pieces that were not secured. Spray foam is your best bet though and not all that much more.
