jdm911
Just bought a new Artic Cat 400i. Noticed that there is a black powder on the floor beneath the a machine. It may be from the exhaust but I noticed it coming from underneath (actually the bottom engine guard has a 3 inch hole cut-out, appears that it is coming from engine above this location. I am not much of a motorhead so I do get a bit worried, just dropped some $$ on this. Hopefully this is happening because it is a new unit. It is not oil as the oil is a fresh new green. Can somebody offer...
pulsar_nx
I'm not sure what color your frame is but it could be powder coating being scratched off. If its new get some use out of that warranty.
jdm911
ok, that is a good possibility, black frame and I have noticed the coating on the muffler is coming off, will talk with the dealer, think I need a jetting adjustment as well....will welcome anyone else's thoughts as well, thanks
