Fly patterns for SE MN now?

Heading SE this weekend. Never fished here this late in the year. What flies do you use? Hoppers, streamers ?

Haven't been out in a while, so I'm not completely sure what is still going off. However, terrestrials are pretty much always a hot ticket this time of year. Trico's are probably done by now, but I can't confirm that for sure.

It looks to warm back up this weekend, so try to concentrate on some smaller streams where the water temperatures aren't as high and the fish will be more active. Anything running through a pasture will be terrestrial heaven and should make for a really fun weekend.

I agree with Ted- terrestrials are a big hit this time of year, grasshoopers are in their final instar so the trouties are laying along the banks looking for easy snacks.

I'd also toss a frog or mouse pattern and don't forget the coveted pink squirrel
